For all the promises of God in Him are yes, and in Him amen, to the glory of God through us.
Very plain and simply put, every promise God has given to us is “YES”. And why should it be otherwise? Why would “GOD” promise us something just to tell us no?? That wouldn’t make sense. He carefully thought of everything we would need and tossed in a little extra for comfort and said, ‘this is what I have done for you.’ No matter what dictionary you look in the word “all” still means, all. But
how does it brings glory to God, when we are the ones receiving the answer to
the promises? It’s because we show honor to Him when we trust Him. We see Him as our source for all our needs. It can be hard for us to admit failure when we don’t receive. But I believe it’s because we have to want something bad enough, to seek for it with all our heart.
It won’t be as disappointing to a person truly born of God if he/she didn’t
receive healing for a disease or sickness—not like it would to a person unsaved,
because either way we have victory in Christ—Some sooner, some later. These
disappointments from not receiving may come from lack of knowledge on the
subject, a misuse by intent or maybe just wrong teaching. The Scripture tells we
don’t receive when we ask amiss, to consume it upon ourselves (James 4:3) or
when doubting James 1. One thing that we can be assured of, is that God still
loves us the same, and commends us for at least trying and seeking His
promises. If you don’t receive a promise—don’t give up, go on and keep
seeking God in that area. We all fall a few times when learning to walk. It
could be that our belief has not matured enough to produce fruit yet—there is a
dew season, and we cannot harvest before the fruit is ripened. Too often we want apples to harvest, when we haven’t patiently waited for it to mature. Hope is believing and Faith is a fruit. God’s Word brings Hope and in Hope we believe, and in due season we reap our harvest. Some crops are harvested before others, they have a shorter maturing time. But this I know, God is always faithful and your answer has already been given to you, so it’s, just believe and thank Him.
The fruit will come—Faith will come, and your manifestation with it.
Father, Your Words are true, but too often we it's a bigger revelation of Your love for us that we need. Protect us from the harm that can come when we fail to receive a promise. Teach us to brush ourselves off and continue on in Your Word. Help us also to see when others need help brushing off so we can be a comfort to each other. Thank You. Father. Amen
